Clarity – clar·i·ty /ˈklerədē/
Every so often, we run across a client who either isn’t paying attention during the on-boarding meetings or just can’t grasp what is being asked of them.
Generally speaking, we’ll see this in the first steps of the project after the kick-off meeting. It goes something like this…
“So step 1 will be your company, Company A, will install the software on all the computers you want managed.”
“Before we can proceed, your company, Company A, will need to install the software on all the computers you want managed.”
“In summary, the first step is to install the software on all the computers Company A wants managed. This step will be completed by Company A. Are there any questions?”
Company A rep – “So who installs the software in this solution?”
“Company A will install the software on all computers Company A wants to manage.”
This is then outlined in the contracts, everybody signs, everybody walks away, everything is good.
The following week…
“We’d like to get started on this… Who is going to install the software?”
