Maybe, they don’t understand the question

We’ve been very busy lately. Today, we had a cohort send us this little nugget.

“Have you guys ever wondered if maybe it isn’t that the person you are speaking to isn’t stupid, but more that they don’t understand what you are asking?”

This is true. I mean, when somebody comes up to me and asks a question in a language I don’t understand, most of the time, I look at them funny and kind of nod in agreement. Maybe, some of the people we work with have zero idea what we asked or what we said. So they just nod their head and agree.
